on our fist day of filming uncoventionally we filmed the ending fist this was due to the avalibility of the rest of the band. for the finally of the song for the last two choruses we decided it would be a great idea to film at a bus stop with the whole band. the obvious reasons for this is that the song is about public transport and its unreliability, and so we thought by filming at a bus stop this incorparates the story of the video and also gives the idea that the and may be waiting to get to a gig as they are all there with there instruments and by the words of the song "all i want to do is get to my ... destination". For the majority of the shots a tri-pod was used to keep the camera steady and keep the focus on the action within the frame. One one occasion, however, a hand-held shot was used making sure that the mise-en-scene used gave the impression that the band were being watched by an guest/ passer by. This gives the impression that they are a popular band as many want to come and watch them. It also gives the impression that anyone can listen to their music as the band do not tell the assumed 'watcher' to go away. The main effect it gives, however, is to create realism and again highlight their 'untidy', Grungy music style.
we also ued a range of angles. This provides a sense of the band's superiority to other bands of a similar genre, and shows that they are original and different. This is the image of which most of the target audience wish to be associated. also, both long-shots and close-ups were used to emphasize different aspects of the band at different times, e.g. dirreent lines of the song are given different epasis. The shots main purpose', however, were to present the band at the bus stop and show them playing not to a crowd but in a non realistic enviroment wher you wouldn't exspect t see a band.
in beening outside there was no need to adapt the lighting as it was a nice day for filming.
